Publicity Assistant

Kristen Olson, Educational Services Coordinator
Compensation:
$12/hour undergraduate, $15/hour graduate

Duties: In collaboration with the Educational Services Coordinator, Curator for Education at the Cantor Arts Center, and working with other museum and university staff, the Publicity Assistant for Student Programming coordinates publicity on campus to support events and services at the Cantor Arts Center, including Party on the Edge and other First Thursdays; the availability of Student Guides for campus groups; studio workshops for Stanford students; and programs such as lectures, films, and symposia of interest to the Stanford community. Builds relationships and informational network with dorm and club/organization and campus media contacts; promotes Cantor student memberships.

Qualifications
: Current Stanford students are eligible. Good communication skills. Familiarity with art museum operations and public relations experience are advantageous. Must be responsible, reliable, mobile, responsive to e-mails, have good practical skills and top-notch organizational skills, and manage time and resources effectively. Graphic design experience a plus.
