FAMILY SUNDAYS
Bring art alive for your family! Themes for tours and art-making activities change every Sunday. All ages are welcome.
Family tours at 12:30, 1, and 1:30 pm, free
Focused drawing in the galleries from 12:30 to 5 pm, free
Art-making in the studio at 1, 1:30, 2, and 2:30 pm, free
Tours Especially for Families
Docents lead family-friendly gallery tours at 12:30, 1, and 1:30 pm every Sunday. Explore the special artworks on view. Then create your own inspired art. No reservations are required.
Focused Drawing in the Galleries
Let the art in a designated gallery be your muse on Sundays from 12:30 to 5 pm. Sign out free supplies for your session and make your own drawing. Join in for 15 minutes or two hours—whatever your family's schedule allows. No reservations are required.
Art-Making in the Studio
Ignite your imagination with new adventures in art-making every Sunday. Experiment with art materials and new techniques in studio sessions taught by professional art teachers. Thirty-minute drop-in sessions are open free to all families. Check in at the table in front of the Museum Store to register for a time slot (1, 1:30, 2, 2:30pm) to drop-in for the art-making.

Art Packs: Sign out an art pack stocked with colored pencils and sketch paper. Spend time in our galleries drawing, and start your own gallery at home! Return the Art Pack to the main lobby desk.
SUMMER STUDIO ART CLASSES, June 2-August 3, 2013
Spend a magical week making art at the Cantor! Summer classes for children, ages 5-14, are taught by professional art-teachers. Explore the museum’s galleries, experiment with art techniques, and dive into visual and performing art activities.
Registration information. Fee; members receive priority registration and a discount.
