Fabulous Food Faces: July Second Sunday from Home
Join us for artmaking fun inspired by artists who use food to create fantastic portraits. Food has long played a role in art: during the Renaissance, Giuseppe Arcimboldo painted whimsical puzzle-like portraits with facial features composed of fruits, vegetables, and flowers. Today, artist Martine Gutierrez creates socially conscious photographic self-portraits using similar materials.
You can register for the event through Eventbrite!
The session will also be streamed via our Facebook page.
You can watch past editions of Second Sunday at home! Please visit our Museums From Home page. You will find further details on Second Sunday at home projects, including activity guides and instructional videos.
