March Second Sunday at Home: Build Your Own Migration Station

March Second Sunday at Home: Build Your Own Migration Station

Sunday March 14, 2021
11:00AM-11:30PM
Description

Our art-making activity is inspired by Do Ho Suh’s journey. His art is a visual expression of the feelings he experienced upon leaving his home in Korea and making new homes in different places around the world. Join us as we learn to build a birdhouse from everyday objects and express feelings about home and our connections to a place. During the artmaking process we will think about moving from home to a new place - much like migratory birds.

You can register for the event here. We encourage you to register to interact with the Second Sunday team during the event. You will be able to ask questions, get one-on-one tips and enjoy an enhanced experience.

Alternatively, the session will be streamed via our Facebook page

You can watch past editions of Second Sunday at home!
Please visit our Museums From Home page. You will find further details on Second Sunday at home projects, including activity guides and instructional videos.

Second Sunday is for everyone. You are welcome here.

Second Sunday at the Cantor is made possible through the generous support of the HOHBACH FAMILY FUND.
