Virtual Guided Visits

The Stanford art museums will open to the campus community on April 16 and to the public on April 21 at 25% capacity. Free timed tickets are required.

In-person public tours, guided and class visits, and programs will resume at a later time.
Virtual guided visits will be available starting April 21.

Thank you for your interest in visiting the Cantor Arts Center!

At this time, we are not able to accommodate group tours in the galleries. However, we are happy to offer your group a virtual guided visit, conducted via Zoom. Virtual guided visits are always free.

The virtual guided visit may include a general tour of the museum and major highlights of the collection, and last 40 minutes (unless otherwise stated.)

We offer virtual guided visits for schools and community groups.

No virtual guided visits on weekends

 

Special Requests

If you have any special requests regarding your virtual guided visit, please let us know and we will try to accommodate them, depending on availability. Please complete and submit the form below to request a virtual guided visit of the museum.

Request Process

We ask that you submit your virtual guided visit request at least four weeks in advance of your desired date. We will then send an email confirming that your date and time are available, and that your virtual guided visit has been scheduled.

Stanford-Affiliated Instructors

Virtual class visit requests from Stanford University instructors have a different request process. To schedule a virtual class visit to the Cantor, please review our Virtual Class Visits page, and then submit our Virtual Class Visit Request Form.

The Cantor Arts Center is located at the intersection of Museum Way and Lomita Drive in the heart of the arts district on the Stanford campus. The Cantor faces the Bing Concert Hall across Palm Drive, northwest of The Oval and the Main Quad.

Parking

Parking is limited. Stanford has a new contactless web/app system to pay for parking. Prior to your visit, we recommend you visit the Stanford Transportation website to learn more about the new visitor parking process.
