The Cantor Arts Center at Stanford University is delighted to announce the most significant reinstallation of the museum’s second floor in more than fifteen years. Montage Fever concerns the centrality of the process of montage, or editing, in the cinema—a topic of utmost importance to many Soviet filmmakers of the revolutionary era. Made a century after the October Revolution, Montage Fever consists of scenes and sequences from a variety of Soviet films.
