Ways to Give

Online gifts and pledge payments are quick, easy, and secure.

Select "Make a recurring gift" on the giving form. The instructions on how to direct your gift will be pre-populated, but you will be prompted to enter the amount and frequency, followed by your contact information.

Select whether you would like to enroll in automatic payments or receive pledge payment reminders via email. Once you decide upon your payment plan, be sure to select “Centers, Institutes, and More” and then “Cantor Arts Center General Fund” from the second drop-down menu.

Complete and return the ACH authorization form by mail to development services at P.O. Box 20466, Stanford, CA 94309-0466. Alternatively, you may email the form to giving.to.stanford@stanford.edu or send it via secure fax to (650) 723-0020. Be sure to add that the gift is designated for the Cantor Arts Center and also include any specific information on the area you would like to support.

To make a gift of securities from your brokerage account, simply follow these steps:

• Complete the Securities Transfer Form and send it to your broker or financial advisor. Be sure to add that the gift is designated for the Cantor Arts Center and also include any specific information on the area you would like to support.

• Please also send a copy of the completed form to Stanford Gift Securities at stockgifts@stanford.edu, or send it via secure fax to (650) 721-2417, or mail to Stanford Gift Securities at P.O. Box 50810, Palo Alto, CA 94303

To make a gift of securities you hold in certificate form, simply follow these steps:

• Complete an Irrevocable Stock Gift Letter. Be sure to add that the gift is designated for the Cantor Arts Center and also include any specific information on the area you would like to support.

• Assign the certificate in either of the following ways:

  • Complete and sign the back of the certificate.

  • Complete a Stock/Bond Power form. (See sample)

  • Mail your securities certificates (and the Stock/Bond Power form, if you’re using one) by USPS to Stanford Gift Securities at P.O. Box 50810, Palo Alto, CA 94303.

To make a gift of mutual funds, bonds, securities held by a transfer agent, or foreign or restricted stock, please contact the Gift Securities team for assistance at stockgifts@stanford.edu or (650) 721-1917.

To get started, please take the following steps:

• Complete the Wire Transfer Request form and send it to your banker or financial adviser. Be sure to add that the gift is designated for the Cantor Arts Center and also include any specific information on the area you would like to support.
• Email a copy of the completed form to Stanford Development Services and Cash Management at wire_transfers@lists.stanford.edu.
• The bank will then transfer the funds from your account to Stanford Development Services, which will then apply the funds in support of the Cantor Arts Center.

If this is a corporate, foundation, or other institutional gift, please take the following steps:

• Email Stanford Development Services at wire_transfers@lists.stanford.edu to alert the campus of your gift. To ensure accurate handling, include the following:
  • Date Stanford should expect the wire
  • Dollar amount
  • Sending organization
  • An indication that you are designating the gift for the Cantor Arts Center and any additional information on the area you would like to support

Many companies match employee gifts up to a certain limit per year. To find out if your company is among those participating in a gift-matching program, consult the online database of matching companies by visiting Stanford's giving page. You can also ask your Human Resources department for information about your company's gift-matching policy.

If your company is eligible, request a matching gift form from your employer, complete and sign it, and send it by mail to Development Services at P.O. Box 20466, Stanford, CA 94309-0466.
