Museum Tour Guidelines

Please confirm all tours with our Visitor Services staff when you check in at the information desk. Tours may be subject to change or cancellation.
  • Scheduled Public Tours are first come, first served. They do not require separate advance registration.
  • Scheduled Public Tours are between forty-five minutes and one hour long, free of charge, and meet in the lobby unless otherwise noted. 

Museum Tours

Rodin Collection

Friday and Saturday, 11:30 a.m.

Join us for a tour of our indoor and outdoor Rodin Sculptures! Our collection spans three galleries, an outdoor sculpture garden, and features nearly 100 Rodin sculptures essential to telling his story and representing his groundbreaking engagement with the body.

Meet in the Cantor lobby.

Spanish language Highlights Tours are now available at Cantor on select dates. Drop-in, no advance registration needed. Kindly register at the main lobby upon arrival.

Chinese language Highlights Tours are now available on select Sundays. Please register in advance using the link below. The tour groups meet in the Cantor lobby.

School Group Tours (K-12)

The Cantor Arts Center welcomes all grade levels to enhance their classroom curriculum by exploring the Museum's extensive collection and special exhibitions. We offer guided tours, led by Museum Engagement Guides, for groups of 50 students or less. We also offer self-guided visits.

Stanford faculty and instructors are invited to bring their classes to the Cantor Arts Center for tours and special class sessions. Before visiting the Cantor, All Stanford classes must register via the Academic Programs page.

Outdoor Sculpture Walk, Campus

1st Sunday of the month, 2:00 p.m.

This museum engagement guide tour explores the extensive collection of outdoor sculpture in Stanford’s Quad and south campus. This tour lasts ninety (90) minutes.

Meet at the top of the Oval near the benches.

Learn from a trained museum engagement guide as you walk among the diverse collection of outdoor sculpture surrounding the Cantor Arts Center.
