The Mellon Curatorial Research Assistant Program
With generous support from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, the Cantor Arts Center, in collaboration with the Art and Art History Department at Stanford University, is pleased to offer two Curatorial Research Assistant positions annually.
The Curatorial Research Assistant works under the direction of a museum curator and a faculty member to develop an exhibition and related publication. During the course of the assistantship, students work with curators, conservators, registrars, and members of the collections, exhibitions, and marketing teams.
Open to graduate students in Art History and Film Studies, the program offers a valuable professional development opportunity for students considering a museum career. Applications for the 2019-2020 academic year will be available in summer 2019.
